For all who like an extravagant head-dress but felt the handiwork of the "Small Burlesque Hat" was too complicated, there is now a very light, but no less beautiful DIY tutorial with feathers (oh wonder
). I have attached the headdress to a headband. Instead you also can try to stick it to a hair comb or a hair slide. Maybe the headdress is a little too obvious in the daytime, but it fits very nicely for the forthcoming New Year’s Eve party and ball season.

DIY TUTORIAL: THE MATERIAL

1. headband
2. two small felt circles (each about 3 cm in diameter)
3. scissors
4. different feathers (guinea fowl feathers and turkey feathers
)
5. a small rhinestone
6. hot glue gun or craft glue
THE DIY TUTORIAL:
Coat hot glue on a felt circle.
Circularly glue the first layer of feathers on the felt.
Continue with the second color or second layer of feathers.
Now the guinea fowl feathers are following. Therefore I cut the feathers and took only the top parts.
Now glue the small rhinestone in the center of the feathers.
Put a lot of glue to the middle of the circle of the finished feather jewelry and firmly press the headband on it and just let it dry.
Finally put some glue on the second circle of felt and fix it over the headband on the first felt circle. DONE!
TIPP: If you find some visual misplacement at the jewelry feathers, you’ll end up with a scissors trimming the feathers.
