I bought this felt border initially as a table decoration and had a great idea in my mind. When I saw it lying on the table, it didn’t please me at all. So I needed something new. And while I did a little snipping on it, I thought probably the felt part would be nice as a necklace. After a couple of eyelets and studs I was sure – it really does!
For this DIY-Tutorial you need:

• felt border (from the furnishing house or craft store)
• small chain (optional with link rings)
• eyelets (and grommet pliers)
• studs
• scissors
• potter’s needle
• pliers
DIY-Tutorial – The Step-by-Step Instructions:
Cut the felt border to the desired size and shape.
Pimp up the border on your mood with eyelets and studs.
Pre-drill a small hole with the potter’s needle (felt is more stubborn than you think), and attach the chain. DONE!
TIP: Worn on a high-necked denim shirt or on a white shirt blouse, the necklace looks especially nice.
