It is time again: At the start of autumn heap up that searches for styling tips with overknees as indicated last year. So I polished my overknees bright and packed my dear with his camera to present you here the first autumn overknees photo gallery of 2009. In order to look not like the co-worker of “Pretty Women”, with overknees it is important to observe some rules:
1) Do not use shiny materials. Avoid paint, latex & Co on boots as well as on the related outfit. The same is also true for the tights.
2) The heels should not be too high.
3) With overknees do not combine short and tight mini skirts with tight tops.
4) No bright make-up and no perm (joke).
Overknees look especially nice in combination with soft materials, therefore the boots loose their “strictly” outlook.
At my current combination I wear a summer dress that I bought in Belgium, an old blazer from H&M and a belt from Forever18. Incidentally, I wear my summer clothes in winter. I have increased my number of skin-tight sweater from H & M, which I wear under the thin clothes. Thick vests and cardigans provide additional heat as well.
These overknees I bought 3 years ago on eBay. Although they already show some signs of wear, I still like them because their top can be turned upside down to be carried as normal boots.
