The idea for this tutorial I have copied from a “Topshop” sweater and spiced up my mottled knit sweater with gold chains. Because of the irregular pattern I chose a tone-on-tone solution with a gold chain. Then the effect will stand out only on second glance that in my opinion fits better to the mottled sweater. Who wants to have more contrast, should choose a gray or red sweater, where the gold chain will stand out more clearly.
